The Kinison Returns To The Glasshouse After 21 Years!

After 21 years, LA-based band The Kinison makes their return to the stage at The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA on May 29th. The significance of the show is that it takes place exactly 21 years to the day after the band last played The Glasshouse on May 29, 2005.

Vocalist Christopher Lewis shared the following:

“The Glasshouse always felt like our home venue, so it felt fitting to make our return there. We’d sometimes get last-minute calls to fill in after a band dropped off a show or couldn’t make it — we were the house band. I can’t even count the number of times I’ve been on that stage.”

The Kinison’s full-length, What Are You Listening To?, finally made its way to streaming platforms in early 2025 via LaSalle Records, Travis Barker’s record label. The band soon followed with an unreleased single, Where Is Your Art Coming From?, on Sweet Cheetah Records on April Fool’s Day.

The Kinison built a following through shows across the LA area and toured extensively, including performances at Coachella and Warped Tour in 2004 and 2005. The band appeared on MTV’s Dolla Bill Tour in the U.S. and eventually supported Blink-182 in Europe.  In addition to their full-length album, they released an EP titled Mortgage Is Bank on Fearless Records in 2003.
