Dave Brown Hailing from Daytona Beach, FL, Matthew Tyler Musto started playing music in 2006 as the singer for his high school punk band Polaroid. After the band called it a day, Musto began putting out music as a solo artist, releasing a handful of EPs before taking on the blackbear moniker in 2011.
