In Between Days Festival has teamed with 1 Million Strong to create a sober supportive space at next month’s music fest in Quincy, Massachusetts. The goal is to give those enjoying the weekend without alcohol a sanctuary area where they can hang out and feel welcomed. It’s the first of its kind for a major music festival in the region.
The dedicated lounge and hangout tent will allow festivalgoers to recharge, relax, enjoy non-alcoholic drinks, and be part of a community. It’s part of the festival experience that also features a vintage market, pop-up record shop, retro arcade, among other amenities.
The festival will take place on August 19th and 20th at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy, MA. The 24-band lineup is headlined by Modest Mouse and Lord Huron, with Phantogram, Trampled By Turtles, Sunny Day Real Estate, Cautious Clay, and others performing across two stages.
