Minneapolis’ Caterwaul Festival Announces 2023 Lineup

Minneapolis Caterwaul Festival has announced the lineup for the four day festival’s second year. The Alt Rock Fest will take place Friday, May 26th through Monday the 29th at two locations in the city. The lineup features some of the best Noise-Rock bands in the land. Although names of some of the bands may not be immediately familiar, the sense of DIY-based community and creativity is unmistakable.

Organizer Rainer had the following to say:

“Most of the bands we have booked for Caterwaul are either directly or indirectly involved thru Learning Curve, or at least can be followed down part of the family tree from either Conan or I.”

Conan said the following about the genre(s) of music found at the festival and if it can be considered Noise-Rock:

“You can refer to it as that, but I think there is enough variety on the bills to not limit it to one genre alone. It is noisy and it will rock. Count on it. That’s a Caterwaul guarantee!”

The festival is supported by Learning Curve Records/Seismic Wave Entertainment and the Caterwaul Society. The event will be taking place in Minneapolis at Mortimer’s on May 26th and at Palmer’s starting on May27th through the 30th. The four-day tickets are available NOW and single day passes will be available soon.
