Adios Fatso released their latest album at the end of 2023. The band is a musical project born in the midst of pandemic chaos between Sir-Ken Celli and childhood punk rocker friend Marco. The two challenged each other over Instagram to individually write and post a new song every day which would be shared on IG. The duo loved the songs so much, they decided to record them entirely DIY. The result was a collection of 11 songs and 11 music videos which transformed into the band’s album, titled No Cap.

Adios Fatso’s name has a fun and lighthearted origin that adds to the project’s unique charm. During the pandemic lockdown, as the world was filled with uncertainty and food became a comforting option for many, Sir-Ken found himself leaning heavily on food, resulting in a weight gain of 30+ pounds. To joke about the situation, he would frequently make fun of himself, using the phrase “Adios Fatso,” which came from an episode of The Simpsons, as a way to poke fun at his weight gain.
