Denver’s All Waffle Trick has released their latest single entitled “Spaceship.” The new track takes you to “a galaxy far, far away,” as the band delivers on their love for all things Star Wars and yearning for escaping to a world of George Lucas’ creation.
Star Wars runs deep in All Waffle Trick’s blood and fandom. Alex “Curly” Mark (drums/vocals) and Jeff Giles (guitar/vocals) were both members of a “Jedi Club” in high school along with artist Max Ratkai, who created the artwork for the single.
Alex stated:
“Star Wars has always made me feel like THAT galaxy isn’t quite so far as it seems.”
Jeff added:
“From the first time I watched A New Hope, I knew I wanted nothing more than to get to this place. This place where this magic of space wizards living inside a western and across the stars… Curly and I have been doing All Waffle Trick for a decade now. I’m excited to put things together and dive into the next record. So far there’s our typical party tunes but there’s a lot of songs about personal growth and evolution. It seems fair to think about our direction – who we were, who we are, and who we want to be.”
