Kendra Sheetz Seattle-based artist BOK SUNA (Yuri Arakak) has returned with the release of her newest album CARNATE, out now via Play Dead and Softseed Music.
BOK SUNA is a QTBIPOC solo project rooted in both musical experimentation and community engagement. She writes and shares her songs with the intention of transmuting pain into grateful tokens of her memory. Working alongside musician Oliver Hollingshead and supported by Play Dead and Softseed Music, she uses her platform to bridge art with advocacy. Centering mental health, social justice, and healing through sound.
