Kendra Sheetz Today Grand Rapids, Michigan’s own Crooked Heart has released their second full-length album Perpetual Twilight through Bandcamp, Spotify, and streaming services everywhere.
Perpetual Twilight continues to build on the band’s previous releases, creating a sound that is both familiar and surprising. Reflecting on themes of mortality and political hostility, Perpetual Twilight retains the band’s signature bark while also expanding the atmosphere and textures of their more subtle moments. The album was recorded and mixed by Rick Johnson (Mustard Plug, Bomb the Music Industry!, Sharkanoid) and mastered by Joel Hatstat (High Jump Media).
