Death & Memphis has been honing their style of Punk Rock that is reminiscent of Hot Water Music, Social Distortion, and Face to Face for over five years and will be releasing their first full length LP entitled Exhausted on August 9th. We’re stoked to be premiering the title track off the new album.
Guitarist and lead singer Paul Garcia has the following to say about the new single:
“The song at first may sound like it’s about work but it’s about everything these days.”
When asked about the recording process for this new album, guitarist Steev Custer said the following:
“This record took two years to write, rehearse, and record. That really pissed me off from time to time, but in the end it turned out to be the perfect reflection of those two years. These songs to me are the reward at the end of lineup changes and setbacks, and they are the celebration of surviving obstacles that would have spelled the end for most other bands. The thing that sets Death & Memphis apart is the fact that while we may be a dysfunctional family, at the end of the day we are always family.”
A Kickstarter pre-order for the album is live through June 30th and has a lot of amazing bundles including a 7″ bonus chaser with two exclusive songs you can only get via the pre-order.
