London, UK-based band Death of Youth will be releasing their debut full-length album this month via a whole slew of labels including Sell the Heart Records (U.S.), Engineer Records (UK), Cat’s Claw Records (UK), Remorse Records (France), Dancing Rabbit Records (Germany), Vina Records (Italy), and Pasidaryk Pats Records (Lithuania). The new album, entitled Nothing is the Same Anymore, will be available on February 16th on vinyl, cassette, CD, and digital.
The record marks a defining moment for the melodic/emo band; it’s their first release as a full lineup and sees them expand on their emotionally charged sound with a renewed sense of urgency, depth, and conviction. It tackles transgender rights, male attitudes towards violence against women, emotional abuse, and bigotry in the heavy music scene. Nothing is the Same Anymore was recorded at Rogue Recording Studios, produced and tracked by Michael Kew and Rob Parnell, and mixed and mastered by Kew at Rogue Studios in July 2025.
