Massachusetts-based multi-genre Metal outfit Devitalized has released the third single off their highly anticipated debut album, State Of Aggression, due out later this year. The new album will contain 10 tracks in total and have a feature from a very prominent figure in the deathcore scene, yet to be revealed. It will be the follow up to the band’s debut EP, RESURGENCE, which was remastered and re-released in 2022.

The new single, entitled “X_X,” holds nothing back. While the pummelling instrumentals shine upon first listen, there’s a deeper story that lies beneath the surface.

Vocalist John-Paul Ratta stated:

“I wrote ‘X_X’ when I was at the lowest point of my life. It’s my experience with suicide and self harm. I’m hoping it will reach those who feel lost, those who are tired, and those who want to give up. I want to empower and help those people that are in the same position.”
