Kendra Sheetz San Franciscan genre-bending artist Grooblen has recently released a new single entitled “Am I Breaking Policy Or Just Having Fun?” This latest release finds Ellie Stokes’ Grooblen alter-ego rejoined by recent compadres Nikita Daron (drums), Spencer Lay (guitar), Alejandro Lara-Agraz (bass), Eva Alejandra (backing vocals) on a track that solidified their reputation as part Devo, part Diva.
The new track is the first release since April 2025’s Friendo EP and sees Grooblen returning to collaborate with longtime producer Jim Greer (Foster The People, Handsome Boy Modeling School), who helmed also the sessions for 2023’s release A Wormhole Is A Freeway To The Stars.
