Gully Boys Drops New Self-Titled Debut Album

Minneapolis, MN’s Gully Boys has released their self-titled debut album! A decade in the making, it’s a gut-wrenching snapshot of life for the four best friends who first met while working in a thrift store. Gully Boys is all about protecting what matters—your friends, your city, your identity—and embracing the kind of peace that only comes from living through the fire.

“Murderapolis” stands out as a track that calls out the lazy narratives cast over Minneapolis after Tim Walz’s VP nomination. Written in response to the wave of national vilification from suburban voices who had never even set foot in the city—and shaped by the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder and the white flight that followed the uprising—the song captures Gully Boys’ way of processing their collective trauma through it all.
