Kendra Sheetz New Hampshire-based metalcore band In Shallows is back with the first single from their upcoming album (out before the end of the year) which focuses on themes of retribution and marching ahead. The new single, “Undertaker,” features the band’s newest members – Matt Pro & Graham Fortier – who are credited with pushing the band’s songwriting boundaries.
The band shared the following about the new song:
“‘Undertaker’ relates to a time that we went through as a band in order to survive. There were some personal experiences that helped fuel the lyrics and outline the emotions we felt at that time in order to keep pushing forward and not let anything hold us back.”
They added:
“It’s the first time fans will be hearing Matt’s voice with the band. The lyrics tell a story with a few easter eggs from previous tracks that we’re excited for listeners to hear…With this song, we found a new refreshing energy with Matt and Graham’s determination. It’s a great feeling to have members who are hungry and want to push the band to the fullest potential.”
