Kendra Sheetz The Denver band Instant Empire has been said to have a major in indie rock (with a minor in well whiskey). But in their latest single, “Sugar Sweet,” the band reaches outside of their norms to explore elements of synth pop and post-punk. This single is the final release before their third full-length album, Cathedrals, drops on Friday, June 14th.
