Chicago-based indie rock artist Jessica Ever has released a brand new single today entitled “Get Warmer.” The song was produced by Kat and Tony Baker (Hot Mess Records, Broken Robots). It marks the first full-band release from Jessica Ever, with Nick Cvijovic (he/him; Butchered, Blind Adam and the Federal League) on drums and Sage (they/them; Em Grace and the Undercuts, Carnivore Mommy, Destroy//Slay) on bass.
The song rips off a lead from “Friday I’m in Love” by the Cure, with a chorus reaching for the Smashing Pumpkins’ iconic Big Muff fuzz sound circa Siamese Dream.
Stream “Get Warmer” below and if you’re in the Chicagoland area, check out the band tonight at the Uptown Taproom!
