Columbus, OH-based singer-songwriter Josh Krajcik has released the second single off his forthcoming album, EPIPHANIAC, which will be released on August 30th via his own Trajcik Music.
Krajcik’s career began at 15 on the stages of bars in Ohio – forging a grunge-y, blues soul sound that would evolve into the Josh Krajcik Band. After putting out his first record at 18, he spent his 20s playing guitar on the road supporting artist friends on tour, including opening for Brandi Carlile, The Fray, and Corinne Bailey Rae, as well as releasing two more JKB albums (Ghosts and Atavistic).
Of the new single, “I Don’t Fear It,” Krajcik shared the following:
“I’ve always felt it’s a driving song. I wrote it in my truck on parking garage rooftops when it was too late to work. It feels like running to me. Towards or away from something. Both.”
And of the new album, he stated:
“Sonically I leaned into some of the sounds that I always loved as a kid,” Krajcik says. “I really wanted to take those things I loved listening to in the backseat of the car in 1987 and then corrupt them and make them my own.”
