Kendra Sheetz Montreal, Quebec’s Josh & the Dirty Rags has released their debut dark-folk single entitled “The General’s Greeting.” With this release, the duo presents the first song from their micro-album, Hell’s Gate Inn, set to be released on May 16th via Mannequin Vanity Records Label. Inspired by tales of sailors, each track will transport listeners on a mysterious adventure, evoking the legends of Hell’s Gate.
In this debut piece, the group invites the audience to be swept away by the story of a fisherman who makes a pact with the devil, thus condemning himself to become the guardian of Hell’s Gate Inn – A gateway to the depths.
