Today, Memphis four-piece Joybomb has released their new EP entitled Modern Scripture. The band aims to deliver what they deem the essentials by straddling the lines of pop-sensibility, cerebral indie punk, and unabashed hi-fi rock’n’roll oblivion.

Across its six new songs, the new album continues the group’s mission to further the hard-nosed melodic punk and charged social commentary of their 2022 debut LP American Cult Candy. This EP sees the band reunite with producer Matt Qualls as they tracked in spring of this year in Qualls’ Easley McCain Recording in Memphis, Tennessee.
