Boston-based duo Kooked Out has released their new album today on cassette. The debut record, Vis Viva, will be celebrated tonight with an album release party at the Worthen Attic in Lowell, MA.

Vis Viva is the soundtrack to the rest of your summer, harnessing the kinetic energy of life across its 13 vibrant tracks. It showcases Kooked Out’s brand of garage rock and surf-pop.

Band member John Fiore stated the following:

“We’re not deliberately trying to combine different styles in an effort to be more unique or anything like that; it’s more of an organic evolution of our musical and personal tastes. Whether it be a fast and heavy punk rock song or a pretty acoustic ballad, we’re constantly evolving and trying to learn our craft a little bit better than before.”
