Making Friends As Adults shared the following about the new single:
“What thoughts enter a person’s mind when a relationship ends in turmoil and heartbreak? It can spark feelings that cause a person to see red as their mind is invaded by rage-induced thoughts. Written on Valentine’s Day, the song follows two lovers during a single night attempting to find resolution to their troubles, but ultimately come to the realization that there is nothing to salvage. The fast-paced, aggressive sounds and dark lyrics reflect the frenzy of emotions and anger our protagonist experiences during this event. This is definitely a break-up song!”
