Brooklyn & Queens-based band Modern Holiday has announced the release of their debut self-titled album. They have also shared a new single today, entitled “Goodbye Grand Street.”

Written about moving out of the apartment the band’s frontman Jameson Edwards had called home longer than anywhere else, the song reflects on the weight of memory—late nights, rooftop parties, and even filming a music video within its walls. It captures the push and pull between holding on and letting go, recognizing how much growth can be tied to a single space while accepting when it’s time to move forward.

With Edwards joined by Michael Horaz (drums), Billy Gray (bass/vocals), and Niko Siskos (guitar), this four-piece may appear as familiar faces from numerous NYC scene bands including Bloody Your Hands, I Am The Heat, and The Vibrant Colors.
