Some of you out there may be familiar with Jordy Oswald. He’s sat behind the drum kit for years playing in The Creeps (oh, how I love The Creeps) and Crusades (RIP). Somewhat recently, Crusades decided to call it quits and everyone groaned a resounding ‘Now what?’ Here’s your ‘what.’
Today, we’re so very excited to be premiering the first single from Jordy’s solo project, Oswald Park. The single is called “Young, Drunk, and Stupid” and, of course, is based on a true story. It is featured on the upcoming debut EP, A Prescription Year, which will be released on Friday, May 1st on all streaming platforms including Bandcamp. Italian label I Buy Records will also be releasing copies of A Prescription Year on CD and we’d be remiss to not mention that Kayla Marok is the genius behind the album’s art.
The debut track along with much of the album has a light and jangly summer sound to it. It’s the perfect pick-me-up for these dark and confusing times. Stream “Young, Drunk, and Stupid” now and keep checking back for more updates from Jordy Oswald!
