Boston-based hard rock band Parts Per Million has released a new EP that rages against the regime with political fury. Red, White, and Blue, a hostile and heavy three-track record is out now. Across nearly 10 minutes of unrelenting sonic aggression, Parts Per Million unleash our collective pent-up anger and frustration against all the forces that led us to this moment.
Reflected across three tracks — “Red,” “White,” and “Blue”, heard individually or collectively — there is blame to go around on every side and each level of our decaying country. This is no act of moral grandstanding or attempt to convince one side over the other. This is reality from a band that has never shied away from speaking its mind.
Band member Paul McSweeney shared the following:
“I hope it makes people think a bit. You can’t be enemies with your own people, and some of our people are very lost right now. They either don’t care or really don’t know what’s going on. And some of you are reading this agreeing and don’t know you’re part of it. We have to get people back from both sides that haven’t been completely lost to the non-realities they live in.”
