Vineland, NJ-based dream pop band Polaroid Fade has released a music video for their single “Bliss.” The song is featured on the band’s newest release Chaos Into Poetry which is out now via Shore Point Records.
The band was formed during the COVID-19 lockdown when singer Nicoletta first picked up an acoustic guitar at the age of 14. Raised on some of the most influential new wave and alternative acts of decades past, she took the opportunity to immerse herself in those essential and enduring soundscapes to help her navigate that strange time. With some help from her dad, Nicoletta learned how to play some of her favorite songs. She soon began writing her own material, crafting a series of melodic hooks, and attempting to make sense of the world with lyrics about life, love, and wonder. But the sound of Polaroid Fade truly began to take shape after she partnered with guitarist Tyler Bronn, whose knack for recreating the various tones and textures of alternative rock history, resplendent with reverb and tremolo, brings an element of intoxicating nostalgia to every song.
Chaos Into Poetry, the band’s proper debut LP, which collects the best of their early material as well as several new tracks, all recorded at Nicoletta’s home studio and produced by the band themselves.
