Bad Copy

Manhattan-based project Prettier Now has unveiled their second full-length album. Miracle Charm offers nine new songs that unveil a fresh slate of immersive fuzzy soundscapes that take their self-styled “underwater punk” sound into its heaviest territory yet.

With Miracle Charm, Prettier Now continues the trajectory launched on debut album Perfect Crush (2024) and continued on the Born On A Cross (2026) EP. But with this newest effort, songwriter Christian Monte is more lyrically direct than ever.

The personal nature of this album is also reflected in the personnel involved, Monte chose to track all instruments except drums himself and returned to work with regular collaborator Noah Sullivan capturing and mixing the record at his Hollywood Studio in Howell, New Jersey (as well as sharing drum duties with Matteo Debenedetti).
