Today, we’re premiering a new single from the Grand Rapid, MI-based band Pulphonics. The song, entitled “8 Track,” started from a simple concept but evolved into a more complex tune, perfect for summer.

The band formed with the hopes of reshaping the soundscape of Rock music and its subgenres. The band’s name can be broken down into “pulp” – a shapeless mass of material – and “phonics” – the science of giving meaning to sounds.
