Punk Siblings Loki’s Folly Stream Debut Album ‘Sisu’

Sometimes an album is so good that you need to give it a little shout out even though it’s been out for a bit. So when we got word of South-Minneapolis-based sibling trio Loki’s Folly AND found out that they had just released their debut album last month, we knew we were in need of a spotlight post.

Comprised of two young sisters and a brother, Loki’s Folly plays loud music that makes them happy. Annie (age 21) plays guitar and sings, Nissa (age 16) plays the drums and sings, while Oskar (age 12) plays the bass. Each brings their own unique personality to the music, resulting in a sound gelled from their shared upbringing.

The Indie-Punk band released Sisu on February 21st via Kitten Robot Records. The release offers a captivating view of the complex emotional landscape that we’ve come to know as modern adolescence, but it does so with freeing, punky abandon.
