The album showcases the band’s ability to combine visceral soundscapes with deep, introspective explorations of both personal and universal themes.
The title of the new album was inspired by something truly special—a phrase coined by band member Creature’s son, Hannibal, when he was just six years old. His innocent yet profoundly imaginative take on the cosmos perfectly encapsulates the chaotic and transformative nature of the album. Like the imagery of a black hole devouring the force of a tornado, Rebelmatic’s music brings together seemingly opposing forces—chaos and calm, destruction and creation—into a dynamic whole.
