New Hampshire-based band Robotic Hawks has released a blistering new EP today entitled All Business. This release comes just ahead of their appearance in Boston’s 2024 Rock and Roll Rumble.
The four-track record is led by the fiery alt-rock single “High Maintenance,” an anthemic song which finds the trio calling out all those that need to be called out. Other tracks include a riff-fueled cover of Terence Trent D’Arby’s “Wishing Well,” a live favorite called “Further,” and the band’s take on The Squeaky Fromme’s “Cab Ride,” an important song to vocalist/bassist Tyler Pollard, originally penned by his longtime close friend Damien Pratt.
Pollard discusses the songs on the new EP:
“The song themes on All Business center around the need for self-awareness. Sometimes you have to ask yourself the hard questions, whether you want to or not. Trust yourself before you can trust others. Gotta have faith, right?”
