Worchester, Massachusetts-based duo Sunday Junkie has released a new single entitled “Holy, Holy.” The new track, about self-medication and denial, is the third offering from the band and follows the fall release of striking debut singles “Vultures” and “Haunted Head.”

Band member Tom Martin shared the following about the inspiration for the new track:

“I had issues with drinking in the past, and the lyrics on ‘Holy, Holy’ pretty heavily revolve around using alcohol as a means of self-medicating and ignoring a larger, underlying issue. It can be pretty insidious when it seems to provide relief, but the toll it’s taking is more evident to those around you and they just hope you can eventually see it too.”
