Kendra Sheetz Chicago’s The Children’s Crusade has recently released their take on Ministry’s “Deity.” The electronic rock project bis led in the studio by Jason Schmal. However in live settings, The Children’s Crusade expands into a full band ton include affair with Cassie Tarakajian on guitar, Oscar Peck-Dorr on synths, and Danny Schwartz on bass/synths. The band creates music which includes themes of obsession, excess, disillusionment, and the body in revolt.
Schmal shared the following about the new cover:
“As a band from Chicago our favorite band from our city is Ministry, and if we were to cover anyone we thought it should be them.”
