It’s new music Friday! And we’re so stoked to be bringing to you a brand new single from Grand Rapids-based band The Quirk. The new song, entitled “Blue Hair,” is the second of two singles recorded by the band in 2022. It was was recorded/ mixed by  Rick Johnson of Cold War studios (previously in Mustard Plug) and mastered by Joel Hatstat of High Jump Media.

Starting with a melodic intro riff, “Blue Hair” holds intensity as it progresses into a refreshing solo complementing the bridge. The song highlights the protagonist’s journey of self reflection by letting go of old beliefs that no longer serve them.
