Bad Copy

Asbury Park-based band Tide Bends has released their new EP All Of The Time via Mint 400 Records. The newest single off the album, “Advice,” was written after one too many unsolicited life lessons from people who could stand to take a few themselves.

Bandmember Dave Hough shared:

“It came out of being told how to live by people who clearly weren’t managing it themselves. I didn’t intend to write about it. It’s not really frustration, more just poking fun at how hypocritical it is, however good-willed.”

All Of The Time is four songs written collectively by the band and recorded across three home setups of three of the band members. It marks a shift for the band: a dancier, groove-forward turn toward Madchester and 90s Britpop, layered over the heartland-rock backbone Tide Bends have built their sound on.
