Typhoid Rosie has announced the release of their fifth album, Last Words, which will be released on June 21st. The Brooklyn-based band has released the debut single from the album, a track called “Something to Fight For.”
The song is a rocket-fueled anthem about their dog who suffered a spinal stroke while on the tour which paralyzed him so badly that he didn’t want to live anymore. He went into the bushes to die and gave them a look like he was never coming out. That’s when they said: “We’re not gonna leave you in this shithole town! Get in the car, let’s go!” This song is about the fight for his life.
