Today, Detroit’s VAZUM has released their newest album, Western Violence. Nine months in the making, the duo crafted the new release drawing inspiration from their experiences while touring the Southern US and abroad in the UK and France. Consisting of Zach Pliska (vocals, guitars, drums) and Emily Sturm (vocals, bass) the duo wrote and produced the songs together aspiring toward a shared vision of hauntingly beautiful and powerful music.
With a fusion of raw energy and unapologetic satire, each track serves as a mirror reflecting the tumultuous landscape of contemporary America. Dive into the depts of alternative post-punk, where pulsating rhythms collide with piercing lyrics, beckoning you to confront the chaos with open ears and open minds.
