Kendra Sheetz The Detroit hardcore legends in Cold As Life has announced a string of live appearances in the U.S. and Europe including the band’s long awaited first ever performance in Texas.
On August 15, 2026, Cold As Life will headline Brushy Street Commons (@brushystreet) in Austin, Texas for a one-night event bringing Detroit hardcore to the heart of Texas.
The announcement arrives during a significant moment in the band’s history, following recent reports that alleged fugitive Richard Werstine, long identified in connection with the 1993 killing of founding vocalist Rodney “Rawn Beauty” Barger, was captured after more than three decades.
