Northwest trans artists Everybody’s Worried About Owen and Abigail Austin are celebrating their newest releases with a short tour in the Pacific Northwest.
On Friday, October 10th, Abigail Austin‘s latest release and first full length album under her chosen name is released. The Catalyst will be released digitally and on vinyl via Say-10 Records. The Catalyst is Austin’s first original album since Alive in the Hot Zone, released in 2020.
Say-10 Records founder Adam Gecking shared the following:
“I have been a fan of her music for something like 20 years now. Abby’s musical evolution has coincided with her really finding her voice, so while I not only think this album is pretty dang great I also think it is incredibly timely/important.”
Within a week of Austin’s newest record releasing, Say-10 launches its final album release of the year with I Love the Red Trail! by Everybody’s Worried About Owen. Owen Trawick’s original musical journey began in 2020 when they made a resolution during the COVID-19 pandemic, to release original music.
It is a beautiful collaboration for two musicians, a veteran of folk music evolving her sound and identity taking a talented young non-binary artist under her wing. Both celebrate their upcoming releases on the road. Both Abigail Austin and Everybody’s Worried About Owen hope that their fanbases find queer joy and liberation in their albums in these dark times.
