Kendra Sheetz Mutiny – a super group consisting of members of Death by Stereo, Dissidente, Voodoo Glow Skulls, PWRUP – has announced a new single and tour in South Korea.
Mutiny released their debut self-titled EP in winter of 2023 on Ska Punk International Records, introducing the world to their fresh take on ska punk blending with hardcore with a narrative of a band living and working on a post-apocalyptic Earth. The story was introduced in both song and with a companion manga.
The band continues the story with their latest 7″ split Avant Guardian which features “O Salutaris” and “Monarch” in both English and Korean. Korean tracks are performed by 18 Fevers and Turn for Our. Following their second ever astounding performances at Ska Punk International Fest and Supernova International Ska Festival, the band will be touring in Seoul, South Korea from November 22-24, with more dates to be announced. This is the supergroup’s first time on tour and abroad.
The single “O Salutaris” in English features powerhouse vocals by vocalists, Efrem Schulz (Death by Stereo, Manic Hispanic) and Chris Ruckus (Dissidente). The B-side version is performed in Korean by Christmas Kwon of 18 Fevers and Heeyeon Lee of Turn For Our, giving the song a feminine voice to the track.
