Kendra Sheetz Earlier this month, San Diego-based band Aren’t We Amphibians recently released a new single entitled “Dunce Hat,” along with an accompanying music video. The track will be featured on the band’s full-length album debut, Parade! Parade!, which will be released on September 26th.
The band was formed by vocalist Joshua Talbot along with his lifelong friends, brothers Brandon (drums) and Tyler Cunningham (bass). All three members have had a bond since second grade and you can feel that bond all over the record. The songs lean all the way in on that emo sweet spot between chaos and clarity — plenty of big feelings, mathy breakdowns, and scream-along moments to go around.
