Kendra Sheetz Brooklyn-based band Deep Wimp has released a brand new single, entitled “Pipe Dream,” along with an accompanying lyric video. The single is the first off their upcoming album, Longtime Beginner, which is set to be released on June 26th via Sorry Bud Records.
The video, made by Kate Melvin (wife of guitarist/vocalist Trevor Courneen), highlights the humorous irony of the song, which kicks off with the lyric “Don’t listen to me.” In addition to the lyrics, the video features a variety of photos taken over the last couple years by Andrew Bauer, Ali Blumenthal, Bill Taylor and Stephen Perry (guitarist/vocalist of The Planes).
