Kendra Sheetz Toronto’s Faiyaz and The Wasted Chances has released a new single and accompanying entitled “Dead Animals.” The band combines Garage Pop with virtuosic Proto Punk influences, cheekily modded for today’s listener. The song was written after a string of bad relationships.
Faiyaz had the following to say about the new single:
“I was feeling a lot of regret and pain and basically went into rehearsal and came up with the riff as a way to deal with my exes/racial injustice/Covid feelings.”
