Kendra Sheetz Today, we’re so stoked to be premiering a new single and music video from Chicago’s Ghost Forest. The new song, “Buried Alive,” is featured on the band’s debut self-titled debut album which will be digitally released this Friday, December 9th via Rot Studios with vinyl to follow in 2023.
The album was originally planned as a 2020 release, but the pandemic put a hold on production. With some help from Joe Shanahan (founder of Chicago venue The Metro), Ghost Forest was able to start recording and tracked drums, and later finished the rest at Rot Shop in Chicago.
The album was produced and engineered by Justin Yates and mastered by Doug McBride of Gravity Studios (Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins).
