Victoria, BC’s Hillsboro has released a new single, entitled “Fell,” along with an accompanying music video. The song is the debut single off the band’s upcoming EP, White Trash, which will be released on August 23rd, 2024.
Embracing a new violence yet seen from the group, White Trash welcomes audiences into pitch-black navigations of adolescence. Vulnerably uncovering tendencies of self-resentment, “Fell” effortlessly moves through chest punching sections, constantly teetering the edge of breaking apart but always pulling itself back together at the last second.
The video for the new song features volatile, glitched-out footage of the band (a la BONES / TeamSESH) set against haunting found footage of American college sorority girls dancing along in uncanny harmony.
