Maine indie punks Milk St. recently released a music video for their latest single “Hawt Dawg.” The track is taken from a four-song split with NYC antifolk mainstay Brook Pridemore entitled Oscar Mayer Winners, which was released on September 23rd.
“Hawt Dawg” takes down the shitty actions of a local venue owner and its visual sees multi-media artist Preston Spurlock lampoon that concept with comic absurdity and a nod to Disney’s Steamboat Willie.
Oscar Mayer Winners is available on 7” vinyl as well as all digital streaming services. Streaming and purchase links here. This duel outing is the result of a burgeoning friendship between Pridemore and Milk St. which began when they shared a bill on Rent Strike’s 2023 stop in Milk St’s hometown of Bangor, Maine. Since then artists have toured together and a shared split felt like the natural next step.
