Kendra Sheetz Edinbugh, Scotland’s PK Bats has released a new music video for their debut single “Black Mark.” The post-punk trio was initially brought together by a mutual love for emotionally intense and sonically raw acts like Hot Snakes, Wipers, and Husker Du. “Black Mark” will be featured on the band’s self-titled album which will be released in late August. The single is lyrically direct, describing the human tendency to torture ourselves with regrets and bad memories, which only increase in number the longer we live; as the song puts it, “an ever-lengthening list of damage done and opportunities missed.”
