Kendra Sheetz Brooklyn’s Proper. has release a new music video for their song “Fucking Disgusting.” The track is featured on their latest release, I Spent The Winter Writing Songs About Getting Better, which deals with the facing of issues surrounding family, race, and sexual identity.
The idea for the video came directly from Proper.’s bassist Natasha and tells a love story. Inspired by classic 90s love films, it starts with courtship and then, through a range of emotions, ups and downs, shows how fleeting and powerful crushes can be.
Natasha had the following to say about the video:
“I have anxiety over being photographed and camera on me, something I’ve been making small strides to overcome. This band has always tested my boundaries, inviting me outside my comfort zone, so I said screw the small strides––I’m jumping all in.”
