Kendra Sheetz Nashville ska punk band Stuck Lucky has released a new music video for their song “MonsterPigEatsJesus” along with an accompanying music video. The single which is featured on the band’s new album, Counting Curses, out now via Ska Punk International Records.
The video shows quite a bit of mozzarella stick binging as well as shotgunning marinara sauce, followed by a mozzarella trip unlike any other. The meaning behind eating all of the mozzarella sticks is a reference to the meme, which did not originate within the ska community. The meme says “I once heard ska described as what plays in a 13 year old’s head when he gets extra mozzarella sticks.” However, mozzarella sticks are not referenced lyrically in the Counting Curses album.
Regarding the music video shoot, Stuck Lucky vocalist and trombonist Will advises:
“The worst-tasting marinara sauce I’ve ever had. Don’t shotgun three jars. My advice to you.”
