Kendra Sheetz Boston’s Yet to Bloom has released a new single and accompany music video for “Play it Back.” The new song follows the band’s debut EP, Ashes, Ashes, released earlier this year.
Vocalist/Guitarist Claire Hudson describes the message behind “Play it Back”:
“I wrote this song about never feeling fully comfortable in the present. I’m always looking ahead or behind in time, wondering what I could have done better or worrying about what’s yet to come. To me, it feels like being stuck underground. Life goes on above me and all around me, but I can’t reach it from my hole. I wrote ‘Play it Back’ as a wake-up call to myself, so hopefully I can move past this struggle and learn to live in the moment.”
