On Thursday, March 8th the sold out Metro in Chicago quickly filled wall to wall with beautiful, happy people ready to groove and party. The show opened with Spencer Ludwig, who brought his funky blend of Michael Jackson and Prince while bringing his own trumpeting twist to the mix. He waltzed onstage in his stunning metallic shoes and leather jacket lookin’ fly ready to rock. If you haven’t heard of him I suggest you check out his video for Diggy now.
Next to take the stage was LA singer Pretty Sister. His soulful voice and rhythmic beats take control over your body making you sway and bop along. The new single “Feelin’ Good” accurately describes the vibe his set. Look out for new music coming your way this summer.
Headliner Betty Who straight up slayed the stage with her glowing smile and smooth dance moves. Proud outspoken supporter of the LGBTQ community, Betty radiates positivity and love which shines throughout her performance. At the moment the audience recognized popular favorite “Somebody Loves You,” the energy in the room was bursting. It felt intimate and fun like when you’re prepping with friends for a night out – or running late because you’re dancing instead of getting ready. When her set ended and the house lights came on, the fans continued to sing and dance as they funneled down the stairs and out the door of the venue proving that Betty leaves a lasting impression which you’ll “Look Back” on for days to come.
